Canada Custody Workshop: Trends in Custody and Post-Trade Risk Workshop

Canada Custody Workshop: Trends in Custody and Post-Trade Risk Workshop

Monday, June 20, 2016
Toronto, Canada

The Directors of Thomas Murray IDS will present, by way of a workshop, a current assessment of global custody developments and the issues faced by investors. There are increasing regulatory demands placed upon asset managers and owners to ensure that their assets are held in such a way that there would be an orderly and timely recoverability in the event of an issue in the custody and market infrastructure chain.

Understand more where asset safety exposures exist and what options might be considered to reduce the associated risks. Investments held directly by your service provider, in omnibus, segregated or pooled form, all present recoverability challenges.

During the workshop, we will look at each arrangement and share the experiences gained and lessons learned from 20 years of working on a variety of detailed custody consulting projects globally for a variety of clients. The day is designed to be interactive and to provide a forum to discuss experiences with peers.

Join Thomas Murray for our Trends in Custody and Post-Trade Risk Workshop. The event in Toronto, on Monday 20 June 2016, will be between 09:00 am and 05:00 pm.
