TMIDS Scotland workshop: Trends in the custody industry and the importance of asset safety

Thursday, September 17, 2015
G&V Royal Mile Edinburgh, Scotland

The Directors of Thomas Murray IDS will present, by way of a workshop, a current assessment of global custody developments and the issues faced by investors. Events such as Lehman Brothers, Madoff, MF Global and other defaults have highlighted the importance of asset recoverability and portability. The risks arise in different forms, depending on how the investments are held; whether they are held as segregated assets, pooled vehicles or directly held by the custodian.

During the workshop, we will look at each arrangement and share the experiences gained and lessons learned from 20 years of working on a variety of detailed custody consulting projects globally and in the UK for a variety of clients. The day is designed to be interactive and to provide a forum to discuss experiences with peers.

If you have any questions about the event or registration process, please contact Claudia Cavallo.

Registration is £849. We are offering an extended discount at £499, if you book before 10th September. All prices exclude VAT.
